Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy a beat without creating an account?
Yes. Every beat can be checked out as a guest — just enter your name, email and phone number at checkout. Your download links and receipt are emailed to you immediately. Creating an account is optional and mainly useful if you want your order history and license certificates saved in one place.
What happens after I pay?
As soon as payment is confirmed by Korapay, your order is marked complete and your files unlock instantly. You will get an email with your download links and a license certificate, and you can also access everything from your account dashboard (or the guest order-status link if you checked out without an account).
What is an MP3 Lease?
The MP3 Lease is our entry-level license. You get the MP3 file for a limited number of streams and non-exclusive commercial use, with producer credit required. It is a great option for demos, mixtapes and independent releases on a budget.
What is the difference between MP3, WAV, Unlimited and Exclusive licenses?
MP3 Lease gives you the MP3 file with a limited streaming cap. WAV Lease adds the higher-quality WAV file with a larger streaming cap. Unlimited License adds trackout stems and removes the streaming cap entirely. Exclusive License gives you full ownership rights and takes the beat off the market for everyone else. Full details are on the Licensing Terms page.
Can I use the beat commercially?
Yes. Every license tier, including the entry-level MP3 Lease, allows commercial use up to the streaming/usage limit stated for that tier. If you plan to scale past that limit, you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time.
Can I upload my song to Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube?
Yes, on any license tier, as long as you stay within that tier's usage limit and include producer credit where required (non-exclusive tiers only). Distribution and platform requirements are your responsibility as the artist.
What happens when I buy an Exclusive license?
The beat is immediately and permanently removed from the store so no one else can buy it. You receive the MP3, WAV and trackout stems, along with an exclusive rights agreement. Ownership terms transfer as described in the Exclusive License terms on the Licensing page.
Do you provide trackout stems?
Stems are included with the Unlimited License and the Exclusive License. They are not included with the MP3 Lease or WAV Lease.
Can I get a refund?
Because these are digital files delivered instantly, all sales are final in most cases. Refunds are only available for genuine issues like a duplicate charge, a failed order, a corrupted file, or the wrong file/license being delivered. Full details are on the Refund Policy page.
Do I need to credit JNRIROHA?
Yes, on all non-exclusive license tiers (MP3, WAV and Unlimited), you must credit "Prod. JNRIROHA" (or equivalent) in the title or description of your released track. Exclusive License purchases do not require credit unless otherwise agreed.
Can I resell or redistribute the beat files themselves?
No. Reselling, redistributing or re-uploading the untagged audio files you purchased — separate from your own finished song — is never permitted under any license tier, including Exclusive.
What payment methods do you accept?
All payments are processed securely through Korapay, which supports Nigerian debit/credit cards, bank transfer and USSD. All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦).
How do I know which BPM or key fits my song?
Every beat page lists its BPM, key and mood so you can match it to your vocal range or the energy of your song. If you are unsure, you are welcome to reach out via the Contact page before you buy.
I bought a beat but can't find my files. What do I do?
Check the email used at checkout first — your download links and receipt are sent there immediately after payment. If you created an account, everything is also saved to your dashboard. Still stuck? Contact us with your order reference and we will sort it out.
Do you offer custom production or sync licensing?
Yes. If you need a custom agreement, a tier not listed on the site, or sync licensing for film/TV/advertising, get in touch through the Contact page and we will work something out directly.
